Peace, Love and Answers

Nothing can protect you from your belief that fear can affect except you. So many are suffering under the delusion that there is anything that can separate you from Divine Love. You can never be separated from something that connects you with everything and everyone else; nothing other than fear.

Peace is the way

Love is the answer

The question is when

Peace-Love_When_FBcvr

There’s a lot going on in the world these days.

It should not really be surprising since we are all moving into the “new” 5th dimension.

Know that the Universe is here to support you–to support us all. Fear is not the answer; love is. The question is when will things improve. Or rather, when will we recognize that the way to that answer will only come when we let go of our need to fear.

Our beliefs keep us rooted to the 3rd dimensional reality that we think we live in. The truth is, it is those roots that keep us from moving forward. Obviously, this is easy to say, harder to do…or rather believe.

There are several Bible passages that came to mind when contemplating the events of the past few days. The one that jumped out at me is a familiar passage about the meaning of love from 1 Corinthians 13. Here’s the NLT version (New Living Translation) from the Bible Gateway:

13 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless.

11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

Truth is truth. You don’t need to be a Christian to know that this is truth. It is beyond the need to understand; you know it in your heart of hearts. Love just is.

But apart from this truth, we must find in ourselves the other two, faith and hope. It’s important to remind ourselves of how these three shield our hearts from the drumbeat of fear and its close companions hate and anger.

Nothing can protect you from your belief that fear can affect except you. So many are suffering under the delusion that there is anything that can separate you from Divine Love. You can never be separated from something that connects you with everything and everyone else; nothing other than fear.

Shift your mindset. Change your beliefs. This is the way of peaceful coexistence with your perceived beliefs in that which separates you and leaves you suffering. Return to the truth: faith, hope, and the greatest of these, love.

Knock and It Shall Be Opened

Only when you can confidently throw open or tear off those shutters completely, you will experience the true Light of Love that the Universe stands ready to reveal to you. It is your birthright, but it is also your choice.

Freewill.

One of the most misunderstood of all the concepts in between the personality and that we call God, the Divinity from which all things emerge. How, you may be asking, can I have freewill and yet my religion tells me that we also have karma or pre-destiny? This is an age-old conundrum.

There is many parts of the human being that are physical, but not all of you is in this physical reality that we think of as our existence. Consider, for a minute, that you are much more than a physical being that is currently walking on this planet we call Earth. Much of who you are, who you have always been and will always be, does not depend on this physical body that we so casually refer to as “me”.

Picture this, there is no beginning and no end to the soul; it is eternal. You are eternal. And, as an eternal being of light, you incarnate into this physical body willingly, knowing that with that decision, you are self-limiting yourself in physical form. Some of you may have sense of this, but it does not depend on you understanding this concept.

The Bible says, from dust you are made, to the dust you shall return. This passage refers to the portion of you that has become physical for the span of time you refer to as your life. Such a short amount of time as it is, it is merely a blink of an eye to the eternal you. When you take time into consideration, all that you call “good” and “bad” is merely a flicker of judgment you make with the limited understanding that you have obtained, mostly within the span of this life.

On a soul level, there is so much more to this; a greater understanding of experience that you can only have when you have a physical body. Choice is the true navigator of your life. What you choose, to do or not to do, this is what you have come here to play with. This is what amounts to freewill. Freewill, however, is as illusionary as this so-called reality that you are choosing to experience as a human being.

Freewill is a misnomer in that nothing is actually free, which is to say without consequences, as is the concept of willpower. Nothing can be willed to happen, everything that happens, happens because of what we perceive to be linear sequence of past to present. There is no past. Time and space, or rather space/time, exist only through our perception of this sequential, third-dimensional reality that we put so much stock in. One cannot fully understand what it like to be an eternal being while also fully enveloped in a 3D reality mindset.

Only through the acceptance of our eternal nature, you will understand that the Universe does not judge you. You judge you, and each other. Without judgment, there is no freedom of choice, as we think of it. There is also no need to experience the consequence of choice. There is only being Light, being Love. In this, you are free to choose to self-limit yourself as a human with a limited lifespan and to will yourself to be something other than light or love.

The Universe, “God” if you will, grants you the freedom to not believe, to not accept your own divinity. This is the sole purpose of the concept and exercise of so-called freewill. You are free to shutter yourself in a “lighthouse” of your own making. Free to close the shutters and either ignore or willfully deny your own light to shine. This is what the Bible passage talks about when it provides an allegory of hiding your light under a bushel basket. This is the choice you make to not shine your light; that much is a choice that can be called freewill.

What you may not fully realize is that this choice not to shine works both ways. You are not only hiding your light from other humans, you preventing the full light of the Universe to shine upon you. How silly is that? Why would the Universe give you this one choice? In fact, it did not. God did not give you freewill to shutter yourself up in your tower without windows. As a soul, you decided to conduct that experiment. What would this be like? To hide yourself from yourself and see what it would be like, to feel like, to close yourself up in that dark tower of your own creation.

If you have concluded that you don’t like what that feels like, then you have the choice to throw open those self-created shutters to expose yourself to yourself, to the Light of Love that you are. That is your choice. How will you ever know what it is like to freely shine that Light that has always been within you unless you risk exposing yourself to the Light that is Creation Itself?

You won’t. Until you do.

Again, there is no universal judgment and whether you choose to exercise this one measure of freewill. That is your choice. It has always been your choice and on a certain level, you know that. If you are reading these words, there must be a part of you that is ready to make that choice. To the degree you fear making that choice, you will risk either not opening up your shutters at all or perhaps, still uncertain of what is “out there”, you will only peak out briefly. In either case, that is you confirming that the Universe is unsafe. If that is your current belief, that is your truth.

Only when you can confidently throw open or tear off those shutters completely, you will experience the true Light of Love that the Universe stands ready to reveal to you. It is your birthright, but it is also your choice.

Will you let God’s Love shine upon you? It is your choice.

Seeing into the Mirror Darkly

There is a core misunderstanding among the people of this world, that we are somehow different…not from the Original Source of All Things. This is a huge error and one that is being highlighted…again…for us in these closing days before the end of 2016.

Make no mistake.

We are all being asked in a very profound way, to take a closer look at who we are…versus who we thought we were.

This is the Mirror Darkly.

This is originally a Bible passage: “For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I have been known.” [http://biblehub.com/erv/1_corinthians/13.htm]

Here’s that passage…in context of the theme of LOVE:

And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part: but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I have been known. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

Strange, isn’t it? That a passage we know is about the true meaning of love has within it an undercurrent of how we can fail to love?

How can we know that we are failing to love…we know by examining what that looks like in the mirror. By looking closely at how our reflection is often clouded in self-doubt, self-protection and ignorance of who and what we project into the world and how that is projected back to us by the 3D reality we understand as the physical part of the world.

We are here in physical form to love one another. Simple…or is it? In one form or another, EVERY SINGLE religious text has some form of “Do Onto Others” as one of its principle precepts. So, why are more wars started and/or continued because of religion?

There is a core misunderstanding among the people of this world, that we are somehow different…not from the Original Source of All Things. This is a huge error and one that is being highlighted…again…for us in these closing days before the end of 2016.

We are all in the process of awakening to truths that have not been a secret at all. There are no secrets, just confusion and ignorance of these truths.

Look into your own mirror…darkly. See, maybe for the first time, your shadow self. Feel how that shadow hides that which you prefer not to be revealed…not even to yourself, and certainly not to those who you claim to love. Dare I say, unconditionally.

As long as we remain in this 3D world, we will have a shadow. But, that shadow can reveal itself to you…if you allow yourself to investigate those places within your own heart and soul that scare you. That which scares you drives the light away, and, it is only by allowing the light to illuminate your darkness that you will awaken to your ability to love even those things that you fear.

…”But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three, and the greatest of these is love.”

It’s easy to look upon those peoples

and not see yourself.

You cannot look into yourself

and not see the soul of truth is in others.

You must look deep within yourself now and say,

I am at peace.

Know this as your truth.

Rise Up and Rejoice!

Easter is a celebration of life renewed. The great “I AM THAT I AM” is within us all; we are each the sons and daughters of the Universal Source of All Things.

Today is not just about one individual who died and rose again after three days, it’s about every one of use…if we so choose.

EasterMoon_2016_blog

Easter is a celebration of life renewed. The great “I AM THAT I AM” is within us all; we are each the sons and daughters of the Universal Source of All Things.

No exceptions.

If we are all from ONE SOURCE…and we are…we must recognize the divinity in all of life’s myriad creations. To denounce one, you will minimize that which is all inclusive. This is in error, “sinful” and without merit. Love is everything. There are only two forces in the world of duality, love and not-love.

Choose love and only love. That is what today is all about. Have you risen from the tomb and been called forth into eternal life? If so, you will choose this each and every day.

Every day can be your Easter. Declare I AM THAT I Am to be ever present in your hear and mind and it will be so.

Blessings and prayers on this and every day!

Easter and The Lovers

Every day I get a new card drawn from the Tarot as part of an app on my phone; today’s card is The Lovers.

The Lovers, Key 6
The Lovers, Key 6

Traditionally, this card is seen as about the surface value of love and relationships, but that is only “skin deep”. It’s about delving into our ideas about love and loving, lovers and other loving relationships which enliven our existence. It’s about peering into our own hearts to make a decision that may be weighing heavily upon it or to question the desires that may be stirring there.

It is said that when we choose a path…or a door, we also choose to sacrifice that which we have not chosen. We are then asked to take responsibility for that choosing and celebrate all the passion, spiritual devotion and, yes, even ownership for loving oneself.

As we are in the midst of several religious and spiritual traditions, known as Easter, Passover (Pesach), and celebrations surrounding the Spring Equinox and May Day, this time of year is about the renewal of our spirit. We are asked to review our choices about many things, plant the seeds that we will nurture and look forward to the greening of the Earth.

The first step of any journey is one of choice; which direction to begin and our dedication to that path to the exclusion of other, maybe equally desirable choices. As you sit down to your meal today, whether it be one of special celebration of this holiday with family or by yourself, consider the choices that have lead you to this point. Everything that you do, say, thing and eat, are results of a long and complex chain of decisions made and executed. Take responsibility for the simple acts and accept that there will be challenges along the way.

Easter celebrates the resurrection and triumph over death, that which was sacrificed was not done in vain. There is a purpose, but only you can own that purpose and manifest it in your own life. That is where the magic happens; that is when you are utterly transformed by the suffering that may have seemed to be unbearable. To accept the ultimate sacrifice represented by the risen Lord is to understand the meaning in your own life.

Celebrate the love that is all-too-often beyond understanding, the love that resides within.
