Peace is the way
Love is the answer
The question is when
There’s a lot going on in the world these days.
It should not really be surprising since we are all moving into the “new” 5th dimension.
Know that the Universe is here to support you–to support us all. Fear is not the answer; love is. The question is when will things improve. Or rather, when will we recognize that the way to that answer will only come when we let go of our need to fear.
Our beliefs keep us rooted to the 3rd dimensional reality that we think we live in. The truth is, it is those roots that keep us from moving forward. Obviously, this is easy to say, harder to do…or rather believe.
There are several Bible passages that came to mind when contemplating the events of the past few days. The one that jumped out at me is a familiar passage about the meaning of love from 1 Corinthians 13. Here’s the NLT version (New Living Translation) from the Bible Gateway:
13 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless.
11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
Truth is truth. You don’t need to be a Christian to know that this is truth. It is beyond the need to understand; you know it in your heart of hearts. Love just is.
But apart from this truth, we must find in ourselves the other two, faith and hope. It’s important to remind ourselves of how these three shield our hearts from the drumbeat of fear and its close companions hate and anger.
Nothing can protect you from your belief that fear can affect except you. So many are suffering under the delusion that there is anything that can separate you from Divine Love. You can never be separated from something that connects you with everything and everyone else; nothing other than fear.
Shift your mindset. Change your beliefs. This is the way of peaceful coexistence with your perceived beliefs in that which separates you and leaves you suffering. Return to the truth: faith, hope, and the greatest of these, love.
