While we can’t always know what life has in store for us, some of us still wonder whether past lives…call it karma…may be the reason for certain things that affect us. I’ve already posted a question about your belief around this thing called “past lives”, but there’s no doubt that all of us have a finite time upon the earth. There’s a saying that there’s only two things you can count on, death and taxes…and one of those you can “avoid” for sometime…before succumbing to it!

A misty memory of possible past lives is like treetops peeking above fog; unclear, but intriguing to think about.
Here are some more quotes, originally written for a different book…one which was designed to be published before this year (2012), talking about predictions…and pithy commentary on human conditions:
- As memories of the individual soul’s “past lives” are remembered in the lifetime, one must be careful to not put too much emphasis on the passages out of life called “death”, but rather focus on the lessons of that lifetime as it pertains to this one.
- Whenever you think of someone—alive or “dead”—they are also thinking of you; be careful then, what thought-forms you are creating. Thought plus intent creates reality, as you understand it.
- Death is not the final frontier; it is merely one part of a continuing journey of the soul.
I would love to hear my reader’s thoughts about what these quotes “bring up” in your consciousness!
I savor the deep thoughts that your post brings to mind. Since I believe there is only now, the idea of past and/or future lives has evolved during my spiritual journey. I think all of my many lifetimes are occurring now, and that through the awareness of my soul, I am consciously connected to all (countless) locations of Earth time and place. In my understanding of Oneness, there is only one being here — so, without wanting to complicate this too much, you and I are living every lifetime we know of and beyond. Like you, I know that life is eternal. I view physical death as a process by which we get to change form and focus. We are One with All That Is and as such, we are living eternal life now. JOY! Thank you for inviting me to share my thoughts. We all learn from each other and that makes life FUN!
